I do want to report one issue. The oversized plates mean that they won't fit on the table as well as the standard ones do. As a result when I sit my family down they get up from the table and go look for other places to eat, rather than staying at the table. I realize this is an issue with how Maxis set up the tables, but I wanted to post on the issue.

I always try to make the plates similar to the base game plates but in some cases ( like this one) I had to make it bigger for aesthetic purposes . Does this occur only for small tables or also for larger ones. ( Have only tested with larger tables and not with smaller tables). Will try to reduce the size of the plates for a future update

Hello, not a big deal. It does happen with all tables if the seats are all in use. I usually have my sims sit down, put the food on the table and have them grab a serving. With the larger plates some will decide that there is not enough room and then get up. I don't know why Maxis made the tables so problematic. I have to place things in just the right spot in the middle of the table or they complain even though there should be plenty of room at their spot.
