These used to work great for me but now they make my game crash for some reason (whenever i enter the accesory section during CAS).

@PicnikSky Have you tried to delete Accessory.cache from your save game folder?

@PicnikSky What changed in your game (new cc, mods, or perhaps recolors of this accessory) right before the game started to crash?

Just a fresh new install. However i remember using this mod with the same cc a while ago and it worked just fine.

@PicnikSky Make sure you use the newest version of this accessory (both meshes and recolors) and check if the game still crashes after removing other recolors.

I did, still crashes sadly (i only ever used the recolors from here btw).

@PicnikSky Have you ever installed a Sim using this accessory? Have you checked if this accessory causes crashes in a clean save?

Nope, i haven't installed a sim using this. I did just check to see if it crashed without any mods and it didn't crash, i'm gonna be adding the mods back and testing to see what could be causing it.

I just finished doing this and now it works with all my mods installed? idk why it was crashing then.

Default Custom Variations
These are really awesome!! I was wondering though, how do you make custom versions with body shop? I have a good few custom eyes I’d like to try and make versions for, and extracting the texture won’t work (I assume because it’s repo’d)

@DoubleABatteries Thank you. I can only say that you need to clone the accessory in the bodyshop (Create Parts) and replace its texture (in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Projects\[Project name]) just like in case of any other ordinary bodyshop item.
I don't know which custom eyes you use and how you tried to extract their textures. Please be more specific.

I was actually trying to extract the textures of the accessories lol. Ik that they’re repoe’d but I just really didn’t know what to do. You just helped me out sooo much.

If you’re still curious anyway, I’m using Soulmate eyes by Someone-Elsa

@nickgirdy55 No, it has nothing to do with genetics. As the description says, it's a set of accessories.
