(Please read this, a lot of questions that people usually ask me about my mod are already explained in the description)

Hi, I'm Skydome.

This is a new mod I've made called enhanced witches. What it does is allow child witches to use magic without stretch animations and Adults and Teens to use magic on them and also adds some new spells and features

How to install

1)First download MagicTuning.7z, WitchEffects.7z and MagicAnimations.7z
2)Then download either EnhancedWitches.7z or EnhancedWitches(flavour 2).7z depending on which one you prefer. Check the flavour info to decide.
3)Unzip them
4)Place them in Mods/packages folder
5)Start the Game. Give your child witch/wizard/warlock a wand.
6)Done

Flavor Info

1)MagicTuning.7z and MagicAnimations.7z are a must regardless of which flavour you get.
2)In EnhancedWitches.7z LoveCharm and HauntingRitual are set to not be autonomous.
3)In EnhancedWitches(flavour 2).7z LoveCharm, HauntingRitual, FireBlast on Sim, IceBlast on Sim, MotiveCurses, Pestilience Curse are all not autonomous.

Additional Details

1)Children won't be frozen solid from iceblast.
2)Toadification and Love Charm can't be used on Children. Children can use them on Teens and Adults though.
3)Children can have spellcasting duels with other children only. I'll try to change that in the future but currently think of it as being illegal under magical law or something
4) The love charm is set to not be autonomous for this mod.

Technical Details

1)The EnhancedWitches.7z is a pure script mod and won't conflict with anything.

2)The MagicAnimations.7z contains the animations, unless someone has made animations with the exact same name and hash, it won't conflict. This 7z file contains 6 packages, all these packages contain different animations and each of these 6 packages have to be placed in the Mods/Packages folder.

3)Now MagicTuning.7z contains a tuning mod. It will conflict with any other mod that modified the ITUN files for magic spells. Please check the mod conflicts section to check which ITUN files are used in this. I also recommend Delphy's dashboard to check for conflicts. Most other witch themed tuning mods will conflict with this one, so please check with Delphy's dashboard. This tuning mod is important for this mod to function properly.

Plans for the future
(Striked means done )
1)Extra Spells like Bad Luck Curse, Knockout Jinx, Energy, Social, Fun, Hydration Charm and Curses. Destoration Ritual etc.
2)Relationship increase and decrease from spells. Like Sims will like you for casting beneficial charms on them and hate you for cursing them.

this is great, but i would like to play this mod in my language (brazilian portuguese), is there any way i can translate it? or can someone here do it for me?

Currently you can't translate it because I hard coded the spell name in the code. In the future I will make it so it can be translated. I didn't do this earlier because there wasn't much demand for translations. And it was a lot easier to just hard code it. But I have been thinking about doing it for awhile.

This is such a brilliant mod Skydome - thanks for creating it! Is there a possibility that you'd be interested in creating a flavour that doesn't affect autonomy at all - at least for teen to adult sims? I actually perversely like the fact that sims autonomously cast the love charm - it can create some hilarity in the game, and take the story in unexpected directions.

I had some other ideas you might be interested in. I am not requesting anything though, I am just merely naming them.
Have you thought about spells that turn other sims into supernaturals? Perhaps some short of item dependency for these spells (e.g. turn into werewolf spell requires a moonstone) could be possible too. It is just that it might create conflicts with NRass Occult.
I know a mod already exists for that, but...how about gardening spells? The original mod's spells have way too limited range. It would be awesome to get spells that could water, fertilize, harvest, or grow plants with range that covers the whole lot.
Another one you could try could be weather spells; For example, spells that cause sunlight, rain, snow, supernatural weather (Bewitching Rain, etc.) or also offensive weather spells like lightning strike on a sim. This one might need a death chance tweak though. Or, you could add two "lightning strike" spells, one of which would just get sims singed and fatigued, and another one that would one-hit KO them (for example, the non lethal could be called lightning strike and the lethal one could be called thunder curse). Summoning meteors could be pretty fun too!
Another one could be conjuring more stuff. This could get OP pretty easily though, and possibly render the werewolf lifestate useless.
You could add the options to conjure gems, metals, plants, cut and smelt gems and metals, insects, etc. A less OP concept of conjuring could be Sim Conjuring, similar to how the King/Queen of the Fae has the ability to summon other fairies, but this time without any lifestate restriction in the options of summonable sims.
Speaking of summoning stuff, have you taken a look at Lady Ravendancer Goth's Book o' Spells from the store? It gives the ability to learn some non witch spells for a limited duration of time. Perhaps you could add these spells as witch spells that can be casted no matter how much time has passed since learning them.

Last but not least, have you thought about enhancing another lifestate as well? Fairies could use some polishing, and I think you could pull it off nicely.
