IMPORTANT INFO
I made an IMPROVED version of the Invisible Fence which I recommend downloading instead of this one. With the new Invisible Fence 2.0 you get:
- 2 versions of the fence, one with a 2-tiles footprint and one with a 1-tile footprint.
- Objects that look more classy in build mode with a more slim mesh, better textures and a correct way of responding to sun-light with shadows!
- But MOST IMPORTANT: Easier to make it invisible in live mode and visible in build mode!!!

Invisible Fence
Walking around in The Sims 4 Worlds, there are places where you Sims can't walk. Besides that you can't click on these areas, there's also some sort of invisible wall.
When I make a pathway on a lot made out of terrain paint, my Sims will never follow the actual path. They will always take the shortest route and walk straight over the grass or in between the plants.
This is one of the reasons I thought that an invisible fence or wall could be of a great use. But there are more..

Think of the swimming pools in The Sims 4. We do have pool ladders, but our Sims will barely use them as they don't need them. The pool ladders in the Sims though, are not only decorative and DO have their own animations when used.
For story tellers it can be a real pain in the rear end to get their Sims to use it. With my invisible fences this can be made a lot easier.
Besides these 2 examples, there are far more possibilities to use these fences.
Curous what these are? Then take a look at my video which you will find right underneath the top image.

If you're wondering how to place an invisible fence without leaving any gaps in between where your Sims can still walk through, I've also thought about that.
That's why the first swatch will give you a visible fence/wall, which you can "recolor" using the second swatch, which makes the object invisible.
In the image shown here, you will see how the invisible fence was made I used on the thumbnail. More info about placing and using the visible fence in the right way, can be found in the video.
