A break from uploading

Date Posted: 11th Apr 2015 at 6:19 AM

While I've had a lot of fun modding and uploading and using modthesims as a place to share my personal CC,
I have done much of what I needed for my Sims 4 and some other games, and Life is calling me away.

A change of hobby is always good, modding here was a very nice one.

Thanks to the lot of good and thankful people I met on this site, it lasted a few months and I uploaded
many Metal/Rock/Science/Movie/Ghostbusters themed that will, I hope serve to a few people with similar taste as mine.

As for the others, hahaha, well I have not been known to spend to much time about them, others.

Time to pack my metal box and take a nap!

the problem with making more mods...

Date Posted: 5th Apr 2015 at 3:03 AM

... is that you end-up needing even more, I started with a Ghostbusters poster, then I have to make everything Ghostbusters!

My next Upload will be no different, but I think even more awesome, since I NEED it to make my Ghostbusters HQ.

I have to work with the in-game Mesh do to my lack of knowledge of 3D meddling.

But this will be awesome and useful, to me at least!

Now taking a break and watching 12 angry men.

Ghostbusters

Date Posted: 4th Apr 2015 at 6:32 AM

I don't really care for the next Ghostbusters.

Probably because the first 2 are so far behind, Bill Murray bailed out for reasons I respect, probably the same why I won't be waiting so much for the next movie. The Main reason why I want to see Ghostbusters 3, and also the main reason why I don't want to see it, the Ghostbusters conundrum, is because half of it's Genius, Harold Ramis, is gone.

Ghostbusters... they were my favorite movie when I was young, I wanted to become a 'scientist' of the paranormal, even though that was a parody of the paranormal, and of science. I still love that movie for nostalgic reasons, and it's quite fun
to re-watch the movies, play the game on PC written by Ramis and Aykroyd, and modding them into my Sims 4.

I hope to make a lot of Ghostbusters related mod, and maybe a HQ.

who knows, as long as it's fun. And it is.

Get to mod!

Date Posted: 2nd Apr 2015 at 6:24 AM

Yeah, I was a bit in an 'idea's for a cool mod limbo' and I just bought Get to Work just to be a scientist and sell the 500+ paintings I modded and uploaded here on this wonderful website.

So it will be time to Get to Work on these new items and mod them, soon!

Finally running on a SSD instead of the old 7,200 RPM's in RAID

Date Posted: 7th Mar 2015 at 2:57 AM

Been waiting awhile to go on a SSD, but WOW!
What a fast and smooth re-install of windows and photoshop runs perfectly on it, and the loading time of the Sims 4 is quite ridiculously fast now, it was before, but now it's almost non-existing, that and my recent gfx card a 970 GTX will make the incoming GTA V runs smooth! thats when I will disappear from modthesims for a few weeks, until then, MOAR MODS!

589 items added in Painting and Posters!

Date Posted: 28th Feb 2015 at 11:05 PM

589 Paintings and Posters added to my Sims 4, that's the number I counted right now, ( could be wrong of a few posters/paintings with ALL these packs )

That's easily a couple of times the content that was in the Vanilla version of the game, and it feel a lot more like My Own Sims 4, from now on, I will try to avoid the Wall Hanging section and let other people work there in peace, I think I overdid it in some ways, but with so many cool requests, I could not stop, but now I did :P

I will now focus on other Objects, like maybe a Metal and Space Bar Design, stuff like that, to complete my Heavy Metal, Science themed stuff I already did.

Final Sprint, Getting to 500 Paintings

Date Posted: 27th Feb 2015 at 8:52 PM

441 Paintings in 46 packs, that's what I have done right now as I just uploaded Waterhouse's second paintings pack.

I plan on ending February with 500 paintings, and then stopping doing them for a good while, take a break and also take care of my real life's thingy's, I a moving soon and I got to take care of papers and moving planning... if I could just click on that option and VOILA! just like in the Sims! but I lost my train of thought there...

I never thought I'd do 441 paintings, not counting my posters, but I had a lot of fun discovering Painters and broadening my Artistic horizon. This community is perfect for sharing Art, and it's been a long time since I enjoyed a website's people's comments and forums cheers to Delphy and all the moderators for maintaining such a stellar website!

and thanks for letting me upload and share my stuff, and provide nice stats and comments section.

344 Paintings done so far

Date Posted: 20th Feb 2015 at 10:03 AM

Counting my first Mona Lisa which enabled a avalanche of requests and painter's collection, I have done 344 paintings ( NOT counting my Posters packs)

Should I stop? Yes probably by the end of February, I HAVE to stop at some point and move on, but I guess I have had a lot of fun sharing these resquest and discovering a lot of artists and paintings and history in the process, plus when I get to REALLY play the Sims 4 ( got a lot of other games on the plate) then I'll have a HUGE museum I guess I only hope I can sell these paintings in the incoming expansion

Still have a lot of requests, and I am pretty sure I won't be able to to them all, but I will make some if not most of these.

cya dear journal that probably nobody reads anyway, still glad you exist for me to ramble on...

Date Posted: 17th Feb 2015 at 7:21 PM

We are getting near to the 300 paintings marks.

That's a lot of paintings, and you guys keep on requesting new Painters, well as long as I have fun and the site permits me to upload
