Long time no see

Date Posted: 15th May 2016 at 10:40 PM

Years since I've modded for the Sims, and played them. I've tried The Sims 3 and 4, but frankly I don't like it, at all. So after a very, very long hiatus, I started playing again, now and then, and only The Sims 2.

My modding abilities are definitely rusty, but when I manage to put together something, I'll be very glad to share it on good ol' MTS.

Missing hack files

Date Posted: 15th Mar 2009 at 12:47 PM

I guess it was a very bad moment for my Windows partition to go FUBAR.
And here's me a few days ago thinking "Oh, well, I could always download my missing hacks from MTS2 one of these days".

Well, in short, I need some help from you downloaders, to recover some versions of my hacks. If anyone may help, please do, as per these instructions, thanks in advance!

Missing files are, so far:

marhis-marriage-lastnamedialog-BV-FT -- THANK YOU, eccentricgnat!
marhis-genderprefs-FT
marhis-genderprefs-TAE-FT
marhis-genderprefs-AL
marhis-socialgroupseverybody -- THANK YOU, meowthegreat!
marhis-cashistoriesfix-SNS -- THANK YOU, meowthegreat
marhis-cashistoriesfix-BV-FT-AL -- THANK YOU, arathea

I'll update this list as I retrieve those files.

Thanks again!

LoooOOOoong pause, I'm back to play with good ol' Sims again.

Just give me some time to check and update all this stuff (I hope I'm not too rusty now ).

Oh, and a really huge thanks to everyone who managed to fix some of my stuff in the meantime: I owe you at least a beer or something .

Why my Terms of Use are a joke?

Date Posted: 10th Feb 2007 at 2:59 AM

1) There's no legal way to force anyone to honour any creator's wishes, hence any copyright claim, or behavior threats, would be pointless.

2) Asking someone (i.e. downloaders) to use my stuff in mandatory terms is not polite: not a major issue, but not nice for them.

3) It's really only a matter of reciprocal courtesy: think of it as a sort of "gentlemen's agreement".

If a user is nice, then he/she will not need any kind of ToU or threats, but will give thanks and credits, and overall respect to me and my work, spontaneously.
If a user is not nice, on the contrary, will do anything he/she wants in spite of any statement I may write down.
