Mesh problems...

Hello,
I have a big problem regarding CAS and nightlife. When I start creating Sims and use custom outfits and hairstyles, the meshes no longer shows up and therefore I cannot use them. This has affected my existing sims too who have custom stuff. Why do you think this is? Ive tried Clean Installer, but nothing helps. This has been happening since I downloaded some new objects this afternoon.

Ive just discovered that my downloads folder is corrupted, and now Clean Installer cannot read it - How should I rectify this? Ty!

The folder itself probably isn't corrupted. Its probably a bad download. What did you install when this started happening?

Well it now says that I have to run 'chkdsk' but I don't really want to start messing about with things I dont understand.
I downloaded some furniture from another site, and since then this has been happening. Argh.

Can you open the folder in Explorer?

Do you mean your computer's trying to do a self-scan when you boot? I've gotten that a handful of times with stuff in my downloads folder. Something to do with a corrupt file, and can sometimes be due to invalid filenames (which would also cause problems with Clean Installer scanning the folder, and possibly in actually opening the folder in Windows). You're probably best off letting your computer scan and fix the file.
