View Full Version : Recolors of Maxi objects not being saved in lot package

Folks,

This is probably a newbie question (and well... I'm a newbie) but have not come across an answer and I'm not sure where to go with it.

I recolored some Maxi objects... columns, windows, doors, chimneys, in ground spa and they all work nicely. I made a package of my lot and moved it from my "build" to my "play" instance and it worked fine and all recolors showed up but then I had already installed the recolor packages routinely as I made them as I wanted to use them.

A friend asked for the lot so I made a clean test instance, installed cep, and installed the lot. All new meshes/clones and their recolors came through fine but the Maxi recolors I did and a couple done by other artists did not.

Is this normal? I followed the recolor guide frome this site and it seemed just fine.

If not normal, how do I fix?

As far as I know, it's normal. You can always include the recolor packages separately to the ZIP or RAR you upload.

Cool.... Nice to know I'm not on drugs. I had even gone so far as to rebuild all the packages with the new cep that just came out for Seasons as I had originally built them in pets thinking that might have been it.

So if I decide to submit a lot to MTS2 with my own Maxi recolors I need to add a zip file of these packages?

If you want people to have the same recolors in the lot they download, then yes.
