Question regarding Mysterious Music Playing after Wishes, etc and compleated

Hi all

My game keep playing short bursts of music at the compleation of wishes and achievments.

I have muted music and all sounds but it has no effect. The music is becoming very annoying

Does this happen to anyone else? Can it be stopped?

That's normal, a sort of fanfare. I've no idea why it's continuing if you've muted though. Have you muted everything, and restarted the game?

I have muted Sound Effects, Music and Ambient but it still happens.

The fanfares are annoying and much to loud. I have turned my speakers down to compensate for this, but now it is hard to hear my Sims speak, even with the voice sound set on high.

With seven Sims in the same house it it an on going thing, even my hubby is starting to complain and his office is in another room.

I can only hope someone will make a mod to stop it.

Ps. I'm not sure this breaks the site rule or not..but...
I didn't have a chance to thank you, canoodle for your advice on "download manager/launcher".
I cleared all sims3pack files and back up "DCbackup/Library folder" as you suggested in my thread.
Truly thankful. :bunny:
