Installing a Custom Sim for Mac

I'm having trouble installing a custom Sim from this website into the game. I am able to install other custom content like houses and clothes, but I'm not sure how to install a Sim. I have a mac and I've read around that for PCs, you just make a Saved Sims folder. I did it and dropped it in the Mods folder. Sigh, anyways, I can't get it to work.

I've searched the forums and I've yet gotten any solid answers. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well...NOW they finally add instructions for Macs. It wasn't there last month.
