I installed the Sims 3 game and played it for about a week in a house with no wireless internet, so my game couldn't go online and it couldn't download any of the automatic updates. The game worked perfectly like this, but today I loaded it when I had internet access, and it downloaded an update. After the update was done, I loaded the game, but my Sim panels won't show up. The textures on the outsides of houses don't show, my Sim's current action is a blank square, and even though the cursor does change, I can't select anything or tell my Sims to come home (they're both out in the neighborhood). Everything loads slowly or not at all... Is my game stuck like this?! Please help.

*EDIT: I checked my other saved game, and it's fine. But I'd really like to get this family back if I could! Thanks.
