I am having a bit of a problem with my WA custom content. Nothing is showing up.

I have placed my D3DX9 file in both sims3/game/bin folder and World adventures/game/bin folder. I have checked my resource file and have made sure it is in both folders. Last updated 23/10/2009, though not sure if this makes any differance.

I have placed the Mods folder in every place that it may be found, sims3 world adventures, sims3 world adventures/game, Sims 3/game and Sims 3 folders all have a copy of the Mods folder. I used the installer Monkey and then copied that folder, so it should have been installed properly.
The only thing I can think MAY be an issue is that when I have removed the mods folders (I have a backup) I try to install the content from my back up file and it says there is not a vaild File Directory to install to.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled WA to make it work with no luck. I have finally replaced the D3DX9 and resource files, however upon replacing the Resource file with an older one, updated on 07/06/2009 (I got it from Treeag's Treasure Box Mod) it causes my game to crash on startup.

Any help guys?

Wait, my Treasure Box gave you a resource.cfg file?

I think OP meant from your Download thread, treeag.

allanmad, if you have WA, use MonkeyBars instead of the original HelperMonkey. Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files

And what CC are you trying with? Are these CC compatible with your patch version?
You're checking the correct path e.g. "\Program Files(x86)\" for Windows 64-bit OS?
Just test with one CC initially - something visual - like a buy mode object, the No Intro, No Mosaic WA, No Build Sparkles. All are available in Downloads.

Sorry Treeag, yes on your thread it said 'If you have have WA click here for installing help' In that it gave me a link to download the Resource file.
ella: I have tried with just a single piece of custom content, that was a car which up till now has been working fine. I then tried with just Treeag's treasure chest, then with just the 'Free Standing Shower'. None have shown up. However all have recently been working, so I would assume they are all compatible with WA.

EDIT: Strange, after repeating the removal and changing of the DX file, its all fine now. Very strange.
