i like how you used all neutral colors. Maybe you can try using some carpeting, and floor tiles in some areas. and where do you expect your sims to get up the second floor? Haha, if you hav Open for Buissness, you can use the stage foundation tool so you dont take so much room.

I do recommend using more than the same wood color over and over. Are you planning on furnishing it?

Which room is which? Can you make labels on the picture showing which is the master bedroom, etc.

I would maybe have reconcidered wood flooring in the bathroom of a modern house :P
A good tip is to think how houses are solved out logically in real life. Like the bathroom having floor tiles, and easy access from bedroom to bathroom etc. Also adding a garden is a must for houses you are planning to upload. It doesn't have to be the garden of eden, but some plants and some decorations makes the house look more of a "whole". Sorry if you had already planned it =)
.. last, that front part sticking out would maybe look a bit better with some columns under (use boolprop snapobjectstogrid false and you can place them in the corners).

I think you're off to a great start. :D This is quite a cute house. ^^
I have several suggestions:
1. First thing I noticed was the odd 1x2 bumpout from the kitchen to the patio. Seems a little odd and doesn't appear to have a function; I'd remove it so you have a) more room for kitchen cabinets and b) light going into the patio.
2. Is there a gate to the courtyard in the front (back?) of the house? Since it makes sense for this to actually be the main entrance (there is a double door, after all), maybe consider adding a gate or removing some fencing to allow access.
3. While most of the furnishings are arranged quite well, the Master Bedroom seems a little full... could you remove the chairs (maybe to the nook by the door to the deck?) and perhaps exchange the dresser for a smaller one? The space would flow better, I think.
4. Finally, it's nice to have a large master bath, but the other bedroom needs a bathroom, too (simply for convenience - who'd want to go downstairs all the time?). Maybe carve the Master Bath into two baths?
Could we also get some pics other than the top-down ones of the furnished interior? This may help us judge the space better. :)
