So I was bored playing around in Body Shop and realized a sim i made looked alot like barbara villiers, first mistress of Charles II, critique away!

Those eyes are great!! Is it possible to raise the nose tip a bit more and widen it too? The face could be a bit more rounded.

Nose needs to be a bit wider, especially the tip. Nose tip needs to go up a bit.

Bottom lip needs to be rounder, and the top lip just a hair thicker.

Cheeks need to be rounder.

Try switching her eyeshadow to one that makes her look like she has much thicker eyelids/eyebags - she's got very sleepy, puffy looking eyes.

Actually, the lids are part of the skin, It's one Sussi's pay skintones. But I ll do everything else!!

I'm here. Okay, round her face out.
Widen the bridge of her nose about 2 clicks I think.
Shorten her forehead and chin.
Round the bottom lip about 2-3 clicks.
Lift the nose up maybe 1 or 2 clicks and bend the tip of the nose down once.
And make the eyes 1 click smaller.

She's looking good though.

It looks better. It looks like the nose will need to be lifted up. Not moved up. And have the tip go down once more. Make the bottom lip have that ) shape but like you see on a smilely face. Push the cheek bone in about 1 click and bring the cheek up once. Make the chin rounder and narrow the jaw sides of her face 1 click. Not the jaw though, the side jaw. Move the eyes inward 1 click.

For some reason the nose is still bothering me, but I don't think the skintone will allow you to have it the way in the picture. The bridge on the picture seems wider, but yet narrow, while the nose has that upside down v shape, but not so pointy, curved at the end. But now she is really looking like her. Great job. I would give more feedback, but I am quiet content with her.

If you haven't already tried to upload her, I'd give it a shot. But I can't promise you anything because I haven't got one on here yet. But I'm extreamly close. If you do get rejected they will give you another shot and tell you kinda what you need to work on.

Got rejected K( It's a good start, but she needs some more work before she's recognizable as Barbara. Her eyes need to be more poofy, and her skin lighter. Chin should be smaller, and her lips and nose need some more tweaking as well. Also, I've noticed you have several open Creator Feedback threads - don't get me wrong, it's good that you're looking for help - but, it would be much better if you would focus on making just one sim at a time. Working on several sims at the same time can be quite difficult

Another thing: The skin you are using is pay. Linking to PMDB is not allowed, since it's still a pay item.

The comparison picture you are using now is ok, but there are much better portraits of Barbara, as I'm sure you already know. This one (http://www.art-prints-on-demand.com/kunst/sir_peter_lely/portrait_barbara_villiers_164_hi.jpg) looks like a good pic to work from. And this one's (http://www.artclon.com/OtherFile/Barbara-Palmer-nae-Villiers-Duchess-of-Cleveland-with-her-son-Charles-Fitzroy-as-Madonna-and-Child-by-Sir-Peter-Lely.jpg) not bad either.

She's a very interesting face, the sim might be awesome once you're done :) You really should pick one sim to work on, and once you finish, move to another one.

Here are the things I see need changing, by looking at Barbara's portraits:

- Barbara's eyes are -very- poofy, and give her that sleepy look, which your sim lacks. There are some eyelids here at MTS, do the search and they should pop out.

- On portraits, her eyes seem to be brown, not gray/blue.

- Eyes need to be just a click closer together.

- Her nose is quite long, and the bridge is wider than that of your sim. Tip should be pointy and turned upwards.

- The skin has to go. There are much better, free skintones anyway. Try finding a lighter, free skin.

- The shape of her lips is not quite there, her lower lip should be much less pinched, and her upper lip should be pinched at the corners, not in the middle. Lips should also be given a hint of red.

- Chin should be shorter - Barbara has a very small chin, with a bit of an underchin.

Also, screenshots of your sim's half-profile and profile might help.

Okay, based on your new picture:

I would
-Move up the entire face 2 clicks.

-Nostrils a click wider
-Upper lip 3 clicks plumper
-Botoom lip 1-2 clciks plumper

-Bring teh chin to a V by 2 clicks.

Lips need to be more plump, as Vampy has noticed already. Lower jaw should be pulled in a little. Nose and eyes still don't look right. Eyes are not poofy enough, I think you might have to try and make the appropriate eyeshadow yourself. Again, eyes should be brown. Your sim's nose bridge is too low and too curved. It should be wider as well, and the tip needs to go up a bit.

Actually, Contemperaries said her eyes were VIOLET. Haha, i know, it shocked me too. I m using contemperary descriptions myself, b/c they actually saw her!

I'd move her eyeborws up a clcik or two
-Upper lip a click plumper
-Nose up 2 clicks
-Maybe move the entire face up a click or two

I would also look for a natural, matte pink lip color.

Yep. I would give it a shot. If not, you can blame it all on me. ;) But I honestly think she is ready. I mean, look at your huge improvement from the beginning!

She looks almost ready! One thing tho, profile wise, her nose seems too small. And the eyes still bother me, because they look much darker in the portraits. The eyelids and eyebags look a bit too dark, maybe you could lighten them just a little? Other than those few tiny things, she looks really good. You did a great job!! :bunny:
