Hi all, I recently decided to play sims 2 again and when I went to buy a crib...I realized how ugly they are. So here is a recolour with a duck patter. I am also trying ontop of the bedding to have baby blankets. Please tell me what you think

Aahhh so cute!
I really really like it! :) Good idea! And great texturing. Are you planning on doing some more?
Actually I have one feedback-aspect: You need some shadows for making it look more realistic.
Try to add a shadow between the blanket and the other thing... whatever it's called. :)
Try to add shadows on every edge, like when something is straight for you, it darkens a little bit downside.
Well, I can't explain it well, but I'm sure you'll know where shadows are.
And less is more.. :) Not too dark ones.

ok thanks ^_^ I was planning on doing ducks, frogs, pigs, dinosaurs, sheep, and unicorns.
I see what you mean about the shadows I'll post an update soon.

Is this better? The blanket definitely looks more fluffy. Sorry for the greenish tinge in the picture my game colours went all wonky xp

Makes it really more realistic!
I attached a picture where I made some other shadows.
Because I don't know the words of a bed in English, I've put numbers on it, too.
1 needs also shadows, dark from the places where it meets 2. :)
2 needs to have shadows where it meets 1, too. The Arrowheads shows where it needs to be the most dark.
On 3 it's the same like 2.
There's a special case, 4: there the blanket and 3 meets. Of course you'll need the shadow of the blanket. :)
The blanket itself seems to be very bright, kind of glowing. It's in the middle of the blanket. Maybe reduce that brightness a bit?
:bunny: Looking forward to your recolours. I really like them. (Yay, more of them to come. :))

Okay I've done the pig and frog blanket and I think I've got the Duck blanket but the middle just seems to illuminate so maybe in PS I'll make that part extremely dark and it'll work? The railing is also a custom colour.

Oh I love them. Unfortunately I have no suggestions at the moment. So I don't know what could help with the Duck blanket middle. Maybe someone else know, or you need to duplicate your picture and experiment a lot with the copy. (If nothing helps you have that what you have now.)

maybe you could also change the outside colour to fit the bedding??
