for my sims. the next thing i'm doing is getting the horse (named daisy) ready for a race. this is totally unlike me, but daisy kicked the other horses' asses! she got first place in both the beginner and intermediate races! should i raise the stakes and go international? what do you guys think?

Why not? It's not like you will lose anything.

As a heads up, International is not a guaranteed win even if both your and the horse's skills are maxed. So go ahead and try, but don't expect too much.

Advanced (in between intermediate and international) should be cake for a maxed horse, though. But if you try International and get like second or third place you still earn more money than first place in Advanced.

well, i havent seen a building for a glue factory yet. has anyone gotten the message "there was an accident durring the race..."? what color would that ghost even be?
these are the things that go through my mind, i'm sorry.

I've only gotten third place at an International race once. That's because I go all or nothing until I get in first place, then steady pace until the very end, then I change to all or nothing. Unless someone gets ahead of me during the race. Then I use take risks until I'm in first again :)
EDIT: You can always give your Sim the "Lucky" trait, and your horse the "Fast" trait for an added boost ;)
