A few days ago I asked in the WCIF section for dingy or faded, worn, and somewhat stained tee shirts and shorts or pants that had obviously been handed down through several children. Since I got no response, and my own diligent searches netted me nothing, I decided to try to make my own, using my virtually non-existent GIMP skills.
To my great surprise, my toddlers actually came out OK (ish), but my children are giving me no end of grief. I am using the mesh for the boychild underwear/short PJs and, as a base, the EA texture from the teen girls' ripped short shorts. The shorts texture finally looks all right, but I can't figure out how to get the alpha to line up properly so that the holes look like holes. Any advice on how to do that would be greatly appreciated. I've read the tuts, but I'm obviously missing something important. Thanks!
