First I'd like to say I've been playing the sims2 for some time then I quit and moved to the sims 3 after a while to play with my girlfriend. It's really fun read about the shells and I have a working penthouse all furnished loving the create a style function its great. One thing I've noticed though is it's difficult at least for me to match the decor of a shell building. Specifically the Aquarius shell. IE wallpaper that matches the lower shell portion windows and the stone outcropping frizies type things. I have come close with a recolor of the stone siding but it makes my whole set of upper floors look like a mansard roof which is fine except it doesn't really seem to fit the building's decor. Id much rather just have stone and useable wall patterns that make it seem to really click with the lower shell. Any suggestions or ideas on how some of you have come to do this?
