WCIF extension speaker

Has anyone seen any extension speakers that are seperate to the radio/CD player, but play the same thing as the closest radio/CD player, like the ones in sims 2 or anything similar?

according to this (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Can_you_buy_wall_speakers_for_SIMS_3) they are already in the game, on community lots, under community items.

on here (http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=9943.0) though,, it says you need the cheats 'testingcheatsenabled true' then 'buydebug on' then on buy mode, sort by function, there will by a question mark tab, they should be under misc.

I think the OP wanted them to play the same music as the nearby stereo though. Granted, you can set the music style when placing it, but it would be a hassle to change it whenever you changed the music on the stereo. Just sayin.

Would it work like two seperate stereos? As when I tried that they where out of sync.

Yes, I get that same issue when I've used the wall speakers in my clubs. :rolleyes:

There are satellite speakers in Showtime which are supposed to play the same tune as the tune on the stereo. I haven't used them extensively, but the way they've seemed to work for me is the first one placed in a different room plays fine, synced to the same song. A 2nd one placed in another room lives a life of it's own, playing a different song. The main point of these speakers, I think, is that they can be turned on and off individually, so one can turn off the thing in a bedroom when a sim is sleeping, but otherwise have the stereo music throughout the house. This point being completely defeated of course because they don't seem to sync correctly.
