Okay, so I figured since I installed Pets, it would be cool to have one of my sims run a small pet shop. I got everything set up and stuff just fine, stocked the fish, hamsters and birds, but couldn't stock dogs or cats in the respective bins.

A friend of mine told me this morning that you can stock the dog/cat bins by shift+clicking the bin, which puts a stray animal into the bin. However, she reported that she had not been able to get any customer-sims to BUY any of the dogs or cats stocked in the bins.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is just a common glitch or if there's something more we need to do to get our pet store businesses to function properly?

When I put the display case in my sims store, I just controlled the sim who owns the lot, and clicked on the case. There was an option to "restock". Once you restock there will be another option if you click on it again to change species or breeds I had a sim buy the dog shortly after.

I found that after I had bought the bin I had to go to my business control panel and use the tool that lets you toggle things for sale on/off. I clicked it to set it to sale and then 2 min later a dog appeared in the bin
