There is a simmer known to recreate TS3 rabbit holes to TS2.

I have plans to recreate TS4's San Myshuno lots.

Ha! I created a WCIF at GOS a couple of weeks ago asking about remakes of the terrains and lots from the Egypt and France worlds from TS3, but I didn't have much luck - great minds think alike? :P

The ones I know about are these:

the terrain (empty) of Shang Simla (China) from WA TS3 by Freezerbunny:
https://freezerbunny-sims.tumblr.co...this-terrain-so

the terrain (empty) of Aurora Skies from the TS3 store by Voleste:
http://3t2database.tumblr.com/post/...ies-terrain-for

the terrain (decorated) of Roaring Heights from the TS3 store by Penig:
http://penig.tumblr.com/post/154894...s-and-thank-you

a Magic Town hood&subhood from TS1 by Voleste:
https://voleste.dreamwidth.org/10056.html

ofc none are exact replicas due to the restrictions in the curvature of roads and such things, but I think most are pretty neat and I'd love to see more of this type of "conversions", either the terrains alone, the decorated hoods with remake of the Sims, and the lots - especially from the pretty albeit small TS4 worlds.

Oh and here are some lots remakes that I remembered off the top of my head:

mostly TS3 remakes:

https://zeussims.livejournal.com/tag/lots

TS3 and Castaway:

mboticelli remade a lot of Sims 1 lots, but they deleted their blog. You can still some of them by browsing here:

I've been working on adding lots and Sims to Voleste's Sunset Valley 3t2 terrain for an inhabited neighborhood, but still have a bit of work and testing to do before it's ready for upload. I have recreated all the lots and rabbit holes which are all for download on my tumblr. http://danies-simsational-blog.tumb..._valley_project

I swear, if you share it, I'll download it immediately - love all your lots :lovestruc

I'd love a proper Magic Town recreation (voleste did a great job, but everything is so bright because of the game - maybe a default terraain would fix that) and also Midnight Hollows and Moonlight Falls from TS3.

Also, if anybody missed it, here's Prah's recreation of Strange Country - although it's not a recreation of the PSP one strictly speaking.

It involves most of Strangetown's buildings from most of the console versions, not just the PSP version.

True, my bad (it's also written in the link lol) - I guess I associate it to the PSP hood because is the only one I have played.

fair enough though, the reason that I found it in the first place many moons ago was because I wasn't satisfied with my replicas and wanted to see if anyone made and uploaded theirs. The PSP version is also the only version that I have truly played, A friend has the GBA version so I've seen a bit of that one.

Now that I've read this thread my hood has grown by a third of the population now standing at a hot 1300 or so. Ahh nuts, Now to edit the relationships (or later perhaps 1:37 am at the moment for me... only my Sims should have such an erratic wake cycle)

Yes! I've decided to create Selvadorada as both a vacation hood and a main hood

I've recreated some of the houses from the handheld Urbz: Sims in the City game, but had to change some things because they would be impossible or really impractical in the Sims 2. For example, one of the brown-houses is mostly a basement so I made it ground-floor and changed the ground-floor bedroom to a bedroom on a foundation. The brown-houses are actually really practical to send poor just-out-of-college sims too. I know there's a program to recreate the basement-house more faithfully but I can't be bothered, I don't like my sim going down some stairs to get home anyways, such entrances get easily clogged up by visitors and delivery people.
But I would never be able to do the whole neighbourhood, not just because the sizes of exterior and interior just don't match up, but because there's no way to recreate that dense city feeling. Or the carnival. Or the boat.

You need the full name for a hail to work.

I have thought about it off and on, but for me, it's too much work.

I like downloading tightly made, sim free, all EP's and possibly some CC hoods. The ones I like the best have been Elsewhere by Plasticbox, Felicity Island by DJ and Polgannon by maxon. And I know, they are not based on any other games, although FI was inspired by Castaway Stories.

Yeah, @otterpop4949, I wanted to recreate Sunset Valley too (I even drew a map ), but Voleste's terrain, while awesome, is a bit large. You can't fit stuff like that awesome park neatly into the town center--there'll be a bit of a gap. Your houses look awesome, by the way.

I personally have been trying to work on Whiskerton from the Console version of TS2 Pets (PS2). I was still working on the terrain by then. Haven't perfected it yet till this day. The project is on hiatus until eventually I manage to find the time for it...
