Default [Need help] Editing Photo Shoot Studio to be Invisible
http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/g...photography.jpg

Hey guys, you know that Photo Shoot Studio that came with Get to Work? I think it'd be pretty neat if the white sheet in the background was invisible, so we can take photos of whatever's behind it! (No need to make the lights gone.) I haven't really got a clue on where to start for that though, especially since I can't find it in Sims Studio---do you guys have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I wanted to do this too, but I couldn't figure it out.. Blender doesn't like me.

I've found someone else who have managed to do this, but the download link is broken.. (the Way Back Machine couldn't help in that case)

Someone else besides the above link did this:

I just tested it in my game, since I already had it.

There is no background when you use this freestanding camera. It works the same way as teh photo studio, but there is no background or lighting, so you're free to use it with whatever background/backdrop you wish.

It is very helpful, tho I don't like this camera style..
I tried to change the tuning of the video camera from Get Famous into the Photo Studio tuning, but it caused the camera to appear invisible in game and throw LE
I looked at this antique camera file in S4S and it seems like the creator of this did the opposite and uploaded the mesh onto the Photo Studio object.. so I'll try it this way than..

thanks for the alert

Edit: I tried it but it didn't work
it won't let me upload the mesh of the video camera for some reason..
oh well, I'll just recolor the antique one

So can the studio sets not be cloned? If they can, then just perhaps you can set the material to transparent for that bit of the mesh, or even shorten the backdrop to below the stage level.

I tried everything that I know and it didn't work
but it's not that it's impossible to do, it's just that I don't know much

also, Blender hates me and I hate it back.. so we're not getting along to say the least..

I'm sure someone more talented with the needed skill would be able to pull it off
I'm just not that someone

for now I just recolored the antique camera that someone posted here above so it would be more fitting for my taste, and black.. :D
