The Down for Everyone link is usually my go-to link whenever I'm not sure if a site is down, BTW. Very useful. Also, I tend to wait at least an hour or so and try again, because I seem to have the great knack of asking if a site is down JUST as it comes back up!

And yes, quite a few topics have gone missing, including the latest S2 Updates thread as well as a good chunk of the previous one. The last time I checked, all posts after August 3 were eaten up, the ones from the Shoutbox included.
