Please help! I had to switch to Windows 10 and I can no longer play. After the first load, there are no options, nor 'hoods. Just blank (please see attached image). I've patched to 1.67, using the launcher and the super patch available on EA's page. I've tried with no CC. I've updated my drivers, DirectX, DirectX 9, used compatibility with Windows XP Service Pack 2, run as an administrator... always the same thing, no options (in the "...", which you would normally choose video settings, etc), no 'hoods to select.

I am trying to run WA, Ambitions, Supernatural, LT, Generations, Seasons, University an quite a few SPs.

Please help, I just want to play.

If you're on 1.67, you are still able to bypass the launcher by tracking down the ts3w.exe and running it directly. (It's 1.69 that killed that option.) Have you tried that?

Still nothing. I tried bypass the launcher too. Still the same error. I've reinstalled twice. And I got my card wasn't recognized, but performed the actions on the wiki and lo longer get that message. I have no idea what to do.

It's the crack. Damn. Now what?

I've bought the cds long ago, they're all registred on origin, but I don't have them anymore. Downloaded from other sources, but now this won't work. Am I screwed?

You don't need cracks to run TS3, just half a brain and the No CD mod over at NRass.

And before anyone thinks otherwise all of mine were bought legally, just not brand new, got them all out of the 2nd hand bin (3rd or 4th hand going by the state of some of them), as a result they are all tucked safely away in the back of a drawer.
