There's a link to Episode 1 in my signature. I've temporarily taken it offline because I wanted to make a few small improvements before moving on to the second one. I'll tag you when it's back up

I'm pressing myself to come back to TS3 after a long break and to take up a work-in-progress theme again. I hoped to continue something like Tokyo (on the Bridgeport map), but what I see reminds me rather a S. Korean TV show instead.

In the past week or so, I've made 36 sims. I've built 5 houses for sims I couldn't bear to put in the prebuilt houses for one reason or another. Two cabins with no bedrooms, one with a kitchenette and one with a full kitchen. One cabin that's supposed to look like an abandoned shack from the outside, but a hermit lives on the inside. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a studio loft. It has no electricity. I've also built a 1 bedroom houseboat for a man and his cat. And last, but not least a monster of a house for the Adventurer's Guild. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full eat in kitchen, a basement gym, and a wrap around porch. I could've decorated it stunningly, but the Guild isn't really known for their decorating skills... I just remembered that I made a crappy 1 bedroom trailer for a single mother and her grown daughter. I also made a very blue 2 bedroom house with a lovely garden and space for a dog.

I'm thinking I may start a legacy in this town. I love all these sims and can't wait to see how they interact with each other.

Doing some routine cleanup and remodeling of shops, etc in my 3 game. Being annoyed at the lag and hang-saves I get from time to time. S'bout it. The fact that the Pose Player for Sims4 isn't working is probably the only reason I'm not playing exclusively WITH sims4, honestly.

I'm back in Bridgeport recording beauty shots and miscellaneous tidbits. The dedicated set worlds have been getting quite boring and for some reason, the real thing actually runs better as well! I don't understand this game sometimes, Bridgeport's got to have twice the amount of Sims and 3 times the amount of lots and yet I'm getting nowhere near the amount of lag as the world I BUILT TO REDUCE LAG.

I've decided to do a random legacy in that town and I'm having a devil of a time finding someone to impregnate my founder. The game started on a Sunday and I swear by Monday morning all the single Sims were paired up. I had to strike while the iron was hot with one of the on-again off-again couples and nab a boyfriend for her. Of course, two days later, he goes crawling back to his ex leaving Lupe in the lurch. I went and convinced him to break up with her out of spite. She's dated and been engaged to each of these guys once and has yet to choose either of them! How come a non-active breaking up an active couple doesn't earn the active sim's enmity, but if an active sim does it they get an instant nemesis?

Current plan is to have one baby from Sam (her now on-again boyfriend) and one from Sebastian, the other end of the love triangle and then settle down with Gunther or Shane once the kids hit their teens. I rolled single mom to 3 kids and half sibs. I'm hoping that playing this legacy will get me to play in different ways than I normally do.

Interestingly enough, I actually almost exclusively play fantasy themed stories in my game. My main game right now is an interesting one as it is set in a fairy village I made called The Village Of Thornspell. It is an entire town filled with houses, shops, gardens, ponds, etc. all built on two large lots joined together and owned by one family, AKA, the villagers. I have it set in a custom roadless version of Dragon Valley that is also completely emptied of all other Sims and lots so it is now an entirely barren map aside from this little village. Without any shops and places to go for anything, the villagers must work themselves for the things they need. They must search the lands for the seeds they need to garden, the insects and fish they need for potions, and the gems they trade among each other for currency. Each villager is assigned their own homes via locking out all other Sims aside from the one who lives there, and each carries a specific role within the town. There are the nature-loving gardeners, the evil alchemist, the town artist, the philosophical innkeeper, the dragon and unicorn caretakers, and the adventure seeking travelers who travel to other worlds to bring home rare and valuable new treasures for the town.

Because each character plays as their own individual villager, their personalities often collide and a lot of drama ensues. Most recently The town's evil alchemist, Phoenix Stormlight, successor to the even more evil Cayla Caroline who burned to death in her home a while back, has become sworn enemies to the town artist, Aurora Sky. He is constantly out to destroy her using his red dragon Skyler's fire attacks and has more than once set the village art studio on fire. Unfortunately for him, he recently lost his magic fairy powers to a cure elixir during a potion session and now is stuck a mortal. With the faries living MUCH longer lifespans, he's now stuck aging at a normal rate and is probably going to be the next to be added to the town cemetery via old age.

The family of gardener faries, the Greenwhich's, also just has an interesting development as Jasmine Greenwhich become the first villager to reach elderly status. Again, since faries live such long lifespans, hitting elderly status has taken quite a long time. She may also be due for the grave as well. If a romance begins to bud between any of the other villagers, they may produce new children who will eventually take the place of these two. And perhaps even some new supernatural types will begin to appear in the village.

I really like playing my sim family back in Sunset Valley but I wanted to know what it's like to play in a city so I started a new game in Bridgeport. I created a single female and a cat (because I like cats) and did move her into a cheap apartment. But I did find it boring as can be be to play there. Maybe it's because I'm don't live in a city myself and like it when it's green and beautiful. Maybe I get into it, eventually. But I don't think I will play much in that city. (It does not seem to be well don either. The sims back in Sunset can walk between places but when I directed my sim to go from a location to the metro station she did go there by Taxi. 2 lots away!).

Been quite some time since I peeked in on my simmies.

Last I checked, Lee Unkrich pulled the "Hide the Clothes" prank on my simself, Erik Estrada and Andrew Stanton while enjoying a skinnydip in the pool that once belonged to the Landgraabs. As of that post, he's wearing a suit worthy of the Malefic Prince Dimande, who wants a queen worthy of the Black Moon throne.

Lee still kept trying to kiss myself and I called him out as the creep he was. "I don't care about that fancy suit. I chose Erik! Leave me alone, creep!" Erik kept me close and escorted me to my chambers.

While playing with my simself, she was given a costume for the celebration of the American debut of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars (the final season that was too controversial to air or release in America 20+ years ago due to numerous LGBTQ+ themes and Barbie doll nudity in the series finale.) So, my simself, she's deciding to invite her fellow science nerds, some celebrities and some local townsfolk from across town.

Meanwhile, Arséne Lupin III and his gang of outlaws, Daisuke Jigen, Goemon Ishikawa XIII and Fujiko Mine have decided to hide out in a rather large house. One problem, it belongs to the Loud family, a couple with 11 kids varying in age from high school senior to toddler and the middle child is Lincoln, their only son. The other ten are daughters with wildcard personalities. The Louds were invited to the costume party along with the STEAM nerds and guests of honor, Alfred "Weird Al" Yankovic (Probably going to come dressed in one of Lady Gaga's strange outfits. Hope it's not that latex white jumpsuit from "Bad Romance". It only reminds me of the Creepers from the Kingdom Hearts series) and of course, America's Sweetheart of the Time, Keanu Reeves (One can only imagine what he's going to come as.)

I've been continuing work on my semi-custom world. I started work on the winery. Many of the buildings still need a few exterior details.

So my fairy sim divorced her vampire husband who cheated on her, then moved to Egypt with their son out of spite.

Then the wife's sister ended up having to take care of the wife's baby as the wife was like nope once she remarried.

So she brought the son back home to Cortez (the father) who then married Blaise, a human sim then had a baby with her named Charlie who is a vampire.

The toddler son is a fairy and the baby girl is a vampire. 2 vampires, a fairy, and human.

Yet, the vampires get sick the most.

Blaise is a well respected firefighter and Cortez quit his neurosurgeon job to be a police officer then quit to be a ghost hunter then quit again to be in the mangaka career.

Mods are involved.

Default Hi! Haven't terrorized you all in a while
Started playing again...downloaded caw again...Set rules and limits though!
I watched a Norwegian show, got addicted to Norway. Here is an edited version of Sunhaven by Gurra. Super cool because I'm pretty sure this world was loosely Scandinavian before I messed with it anyway.
Getting used to the lack of trees but yeah, Norway has a large bit of land that is mostly valley/plains.
Currently living out a rural story where farming and fishing are the upmost important tasks due to winter survival (there's not really a grocery store or restaurant or wtv, small fishing village after all)
Aleksandur Lindholm (left) is a city slicker doing a travel study on the island and Oliver Sorensson (right) is a Sami (Simi I guess ;} ) descendant and island ambassador who's gonna make sure his guest does his fair share in stocking up for winter
Also the small hytte they share.
- The red and yellow building is the "Seabird Inn" (an edited Aurora Skies lot) which will be like a hangout/bar to kill that "abandoned on an island" feeling.
- First 4 hytten are homes.
- The last three hytte(n?) are the laundromat, library, and consignment store as they were in the original world.
-Tiny hytte at the bottom is empty atm,
- Large outdoor lot was stolen from Aurora Skies, gonna use it for outdoor events ofc.
- There's a less visible 10x10 lot that will be used for gardening.
-Geothermal pool lot I made like the ones in Aurora Skies does have some fish in it for some reason.
- Church lot ofc, from the original world but replaced with the church that came with AS
-Other red hytte that is larger was built like a fisherman storehouse but actually houses the school and townhall rabbitholes.

Two Zombies are roaming in front of my simself house but I don't have any time to play I have to redecorate a lot since I redoing my s3cc folders.

The Gothic Council of Antiquities has decided to ban elevators in Midnight Hollow after several complaints about Sims getting stuck inside them and forced to listen to elevator jazz. When pressed for a comment council woman Olive Specter had this to say: "Elevators are the ruin of everything Midnight Hollow stands for. Sure they get you to and from floors faster than stairs but they're so un-Baroque."

Just a random propaganda piece I made real quick in GIMP for Midnight Hollow's recent ELEVATOR [Eliminate Lifting and Elevating Vertical Ascending Things and Object Raisers] Act.

I'm thinking of changing the font into Simlish and maybe making a copy of the pool sign with it on the sign.

My sim got the wish to clone a sim. So I chose an elderly sim who hadn't had any kids from the town, had her befriend him and then ask him for a DNA sample. After she did it she got the best facial expression like, "What has science wrought!? Oh brave new world that has such things in it!

Haven't had much time to play with my sims.

Once my summer slows down, I will probably get back into it.

But I am amazed about the stories since I last posted.

Mods with sick vampires, Scandinavian architecture, zombies, clones? I don't know if my multiverse can top that.

This week in my game: pretty much nothing, because I rediscovered RollerCoasterTycoon 2 and its greatly enhanced open-source remake, OpenRCT. God dammit.
Oh well, at least I'm building. Didn't even have to relearn anything, I grew up with this game so I guess I speak it natively.

Default Northpaw Island

Northpaw Island

Stateside inspired.. not sure which one though
foresty and northern, I threw some Native American references in here
Has a hangout, almost all rabbitholes, two parks, library, consignment shops, laundromat,
World and some lots are Gurra's ofc
The others are edits from Sims3realty's Redwood Harbor world

Q: Why this world AGAIN?
A: This is one of the few worlds I've found that works in my time of stealing and editing people's tiny creations ! If I leave the routing alone then I have almost no problems and its also a decent size minus the lack of residents.

Q: When will this end?
A: Hopefully now! Satisfied with this world although it needs finishing touches. But for the most part I'm done for awhile again.
