Can you not change the color of the birds in P+N? both my monarc and witch have the same colored parrt. What I've noticed is that the the picture in the action while holding the parrot, the parrot is purple. So like, are they all one color or can they be changed?

Edit: Also, how do you get the "dead" falcon?

Shimrod has a mod which unlocks all the birds.

I have managed to buy eight of the different birds in the village shop without the unlocking mod.
I did do several pirate quests so this might have made them available beyond just the first few.
Among these are the white hawk, several multicolored parrots and a macaw, the red hawk, the black parrot.
And as for the dead falcon one of my hawks brought it back after I sent it hunting.
