This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife
Default Having Trouble Reinstalling The Sims 2
Okay, I uninstalled the sims 2 and the sims 2 univeristy today. I was trying to reinstall the game and it was doing find, until this box pops up saying something about an error occured while copying files and asked me is I wanted to retry or cancel. Well, I retry and it kept doing that, but the little bar kept moving. Can someone please help me reinstall my game, I would really appriecate it.

Try cleaning the disk. Also, prep your system by using Disk Defragmenter.

I had this issue too...after copying the Sims2 folder onto my desttop, I deleted the EAgames file, ran disk cleanup. Then re-installed...
