Paintings original image has dissapeared after moving lots
So I moved a family from its original lot to a new one, I first saved all their custom paintings in their inventory. So far so good. In the new lot the paintings were just fine, I was very happy and hanged them on the wall. I played some more with other lots and restarted the game, however now I have reloaded this house and the image on the paintings is gone! it's been replaced by a yellow-red fading generic painting, I searched and searched here and elsewhere but only found these threads:http://www.modthesims.info/showthre...light=paintings

The threads are years old, which is why I didn't bump them, only one has a solution which is to make the sims repaint them, but I have several pictures, is there anyway to make this faster in simPe? like find the picture and link it to its original image?

Looks like the threads already suggested repainting and/or finding the image file in the original lot and swap the pictures. As for faster methods, I don't know.

This has always been an issue and no one has ever found a way around it, for paintings anyway.

I have had several of my teen sims paint two or more custom paintings and take them with them to University and then to the lot that they are going to live on after graduation. Each time the paintings are fine. I don't do anything special.
for info on changing the Mac Open File Limit check out my post here http://www.insimenator.org/index.ph...html#msg1628939

Maybe the fast method would be that.
Have a Sim store the custom paintings from the original house in their inventory. Then move them into the new lot. Then take out the custom paintings from that Sims's inventory.
