Default Sims 3: For MY Mac?
Hey..

I'm really interested in getting the Sims 3. It states that it's compatible for Mac OS/X and Windows (simultaneously). I'm interested in purchasing this game but I want to make sure that it can run on my Mac computer first. I'm wondering if I'll need a graphics or video card which I don't really want to look into unless I absolutely have to.

I'm hoping that it works for my computer but I want to know from you guys first if it would be okay. Thank you so much! I'm so sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. I wasn't really sure. Please move it if it's incorrect?

-Angie

This should probably be in Computer Hardware and Software, and beyond that, you probably want to compare your specs to the ones posted here (TS3 requirements) and if you have further questions post here (help buying a new computer/upgrading your current one)

Hi AngieSim...

The Mac requirements for Sims3 are here...

EDIT: Oops. Should really read the message before replying...

You seem light in the memory department. However, if Sims3 runs as smoothly as the entire set does on my PC then 1 gig should be enough.

If you bought the Mac within the past few months, they upgraded the video chip to one that should do well with the game.

Just call me Bigirish, okay?
