I'm sure there's a mod for this, but for the life of me I can't find it. Anyone know where it is before I lock this dude in a dungeon and remove the door and steps and windows and... well you get the picture.

I was almost positive I'd seen one before. I shoulda looked at BO's mods .. dunno why I didn't think of it. I did look as Cyjon's, but his was a fix for somethin else.

I looked across Simbology, Insim, and MATY and I didn't see anything similar to this (well, there is a mod on MATY that stops all autonomous actions directed to babies, but not toddlers and it applied to everyone, not just butlers) so I narrowed down to Leefish because I also saw this when I was downloading mods. I don't have it in my game because I don't play with butlers but I'm sure it'll help you

Pescado also made an object - the Baby Controller. Some people like it fine, but I don't use it because it interfered with my parenting almost as much as the nannies did. If you want to try it, it's babycontrol.zip here:

Thanks RoxEllen... I knew of those, but I was lookin for the butler one specifically. I don't usually play w/ them, but thought I'd have the Goths hire one as atm they have a houseful.

I too don't care for the lobo nanny and baby controller. We'll see how this one does, if not it's bye, bye butler hello nanny ... even though she's almost just as annoyin.

When one of my rich families wanted a butler I made a playable one and moved him in with them. Full control.

I do use the lobonanny mod in my game. Without the Baby Controller, it does actually seem to help - I don't have nearly as many problems with the butlers and nannies harassing my kids now. It was the Baby Controller that was making me want to pitch my computer out the window.

Yeah, I've done that too. At the moment however the Goth manor is housing Mortimer, his wife Dina, Dina's son Michael, by her late husband Michael, their new daughter, Alexander, Cassandra, her husband Don, and their new baby. Slight bit of a full house :D. I just want the butler to butler and leave the caregivin to the relatives... mostly Mortimer as his time is short and I babies/ toddlters to show as havin memories of him.
