plz help me im one very confussed monkey

i install theuniversity expansion pack well it askes for disk 4 of the sims2
and when i enter it it updates half way and says error up dating
and unintallies itself...

do i need to up date the sims 2 first and trie it if so can u plz tell me were to find it ... plz and thank u

KFC, this is the Site Tech Support, not Sims 2 Help.

It's uninstalling itself because you probably applied the first patch, and not the second patch. (Maxis released them close to each other).

If you can get the Original Sims 2 to work, then I recommend downloading the second patch from the Maxis website (it's about 16.7MB):

First of all do you have the cracked sims2.exe file to get rid of the censor blur? In that case u must first replace it with the original exe file or the install wont work.
For the second, if you have installed the first patch that came out from maxis you must also install the second patch (its on sims2.com) before you try installing University. If you have not installed any of the patches you should be alright, they are included in the university install. But if you have only one installed then it wont work.
