At first, (admittedly, it was early morning, not the best time to understand new things well..) I thought these were empty subhoods.
Now I understand what you're doing!
It's just a new way of packaging the 'beginning' families without the risk of corruption of moving them between hoods! Brilliant!
I think I'm going to go nuts, but I'll have to pick & choose how to do it without blowing up my game..

I'm creating my "curious about genetics" hood. I downloaded the empty version of Meadow Creek and used the families from this series to add the beginning of the Aspir, Broke, Pleasant, and Summderdream families.

I'm curious how the genetics will turn out if the Sims are born in game.

I'm going to stick with my current beginning of Pleasantview/Bluewater Village Neihgbourhood for now, but once the population gets smaller/too inbred I might add some of the Desiderata/Riverblossom/Belladonna ancestors :D

The reason why I'm calling it the "Curious about Genetics" hood is because I'm playing the families to see how the genetics turn out if the Sims are born in game. I'm curious about how Angela and Lilith Pleasant will turn out if all of their ancestors were born in game. I'm curious about what Puck and Bottom Summerdream would look like if Titania had given birth to them instead of adopting them. I'm curious how Dustin and Beau Broke would turn out if they were born in game.

To get started I moved the Oldies into a house (In Pleasantview, Herb and Coral Oldie are Angela and Lilith Pleasant's grandparents. Myron and Irma Oldie are Herb's mother and father, so Angela and Lilith Pleasant's Great-Grandparents.)

Myron has the LTW of getting to the top of the Oceangraphy career, so he got a level 1 job in the Oceangraphy career. While I was playing Irma's pregnancy, he got to level 4. Irma has the LTW to get to the top of the Medical career. She got the level 1 job at at the bottom of the Medical career and got one promotion before she had to go on maternity leave.

Shortly after I moved them in they ACR woohooed and I heard baby chimes. Not much happened while I was playing Irma's pregnancy. They skilled for their jobs and also got the skills they needed to make badges less tedious. (Myron has wants to get a bronze in toy making, robotics and flower arranging. I've been having him skill so that once he starts working on those badges it won't be so tedious.) I remembered to save when Irma went into labor, but she gave birth to a boy right away so I didn't need to exit without saving to get a boy. She gave birth to a baby boy I named Herb with blonde hair and brown eyes.

I saved and exited after Irma gave birth and Myron got home from work. I had surgery April 24, and at times in a lot of pain. I need to lay down right now to hopefully make the pain go down.

I guess it's because the Tricou family series is new... that's why.

I chose the Landgraabs and Buckinghams to be 2 of the 3 founding households in my new custom NH; HomeTown. (A small town being rebuilt following 'The Great Fire" - a widespread wildfire in Cooke County. The county is named after Julian Cooke's great, great grandfather who was the first mayor of HomeTown.

Julian bought a small home next to the diner on Main street after arriving in town 5 years after the Landgraabs and Buckinghams who consder him to be an outsider as well as being at the bottom of the local social scale.

Malcolm Landgraab 11 and his lawyer wife, Marion , have one son; Malcolm Landgraab 111 who has just begun attending Cooke County Elementary School.

Malcolm, a well off businessman, has a keen interest in aquiring and investing in real estate. He is good friends with Blair Buckingham, an up and coming architect, who owns a local construction company.

Blair's wife, Virginia works as a teacher's aid at the elementary school. She has also authored 3 volumes detailing the history of HomeTown up to the present day (before the great fire, the beginings of rebuilding and a reference book for the historical society. Marion is working towards a college degree in education.

The Buckingham's twin sons, Maynard and Melvin also attend Cooke County Elementary. Thier daughter, Margaret is yet a toddler.

Julien Cooke's adopted daughter, Tristen, is in the same class as are the Landgraab and Buckingham boys. Not wanting to upset her father, Tristen keeps to herself the fact that the boys ,inspried by thier parent's attitude toward's Julien, make a game of teasing and bullying.

When the great fire happened ten years ago it devoured all of the town with the exception of the south edge where Main Street is located. Only the old town hall, church, library and diner were spared along with both the county elementary and the county high school(and the house next to the diner).

The Landgraab and Buckingham families built new homes on the north end of town. Blair Landgraab now owns most of the land northeast of Main Street.

UPDATE: The Baldwin line of Belladonna Cove is now waiting to be introduced to my HomeTown community. ( A journal and town records are being kept updated along with screenshots. This is so much fun!)

I'm starting Beginning Pleasantview, right now I'm just moving everyone in homes, and taking notes on who is born along with who. My goal is to bring it to the original Pleasantview, so there won't be any more children then there's suppose to be.

I might try the other hoods in the future, but right now I just want to focus on Pleasantview.

There's no drama, like Sims drama.
