This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Hoodchecker and the Ultimate Collection and Orgin
Need help setting up Hoodchecker on The Ultimate Collection
Hi can someone explain how to get the Hoodchecker to find The Ultimate Collection through Origin? I run the program the only options are start button and a exit button. I get a unhandled exception. It say if I click the continue button it will attempt to start. It don't start it just buffers.
In another paratgraph it say could not load file or assemble 'simpe.package etc.
Thanks

I'd imagine it would be the same as running HCDU with the Ultimate Collection. You'd need to rename your folder to The Sims 2 whenever you wanted to run it.

You can use the Browse-button on the bottom:

And then navigate to your Ultimate Collection\Neighborhood-folder and choose Neighborhood and then the Neighborhood-package:

It seems that HoodChecker remembers that location

It seems to be saying that it cannot find simpe.package. It might be the .dll I highlighted in my picture, I am guessing here.
Make sure you have all the required .dll files and everything, in your installation folder. I installed my copy of Hood Checker in My Documents, but yours could be elsewhere.
maybe re-downloading the program and re-install it do the trick?

Looking at that, I think redownloading a new copy is a good idea. Also, do you have the latest version of SimPE? I am going to try to find the link to that quickly.

It is here: http://modthesims.info/m/showthread...319#post5338319 See post 83.

I would also check my antivirus -and make sure what I do before I run a registry cleaner. Registry cleaners do sometimes delete some of the .dll files that the UC needs.
