This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default I may be on the right track....just a little more help, please
Okay, so my current problem with the game on my new computer began when I went to Riverside which I have installed as a subhood in the shopping districts.

The apocalypse began and just hasn't stopped.

I've fiddled and faddled around, installed that of which we do not speak, finally, so I could disconnect my anti virus and play offline, and still had problems ONLY when I tried to enter Riverside.

Long story short, I FINALLY figured out I hadn't altered my program files to add in the subhoods.

I have quite a few subhoods to do this for, so I need to get started.

How do I do that, again? I have Mootilda's fix already in my downloads. I just need a quick reminder about the other stuff.

thanks! Hugs and kisses to all of you!

I am assuming that you mean to install shopping districts.

For Shopping Districts:
1. Put the folder B*** {where B*** is the name of the folder for a shopping district} into your Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Open For Business\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

Note: If you have The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, put it here instead: Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Best of Business\EP3\TSData\Res\NeighborhoodTemplate

If you are adding a Downtown the install location would be different.

Thank you! That was extremely helpful. It was the final battle in a cascade of game failures that turned out to be a combination of my new AVG antivirus (which works fine on my old computer so I'm surprised it conflicted) and not having installed the custom hood to subhoods thingy in the program files.

What I ended up doing was importing my old best of business and fun with pets folders from the old computer to the new one.

Thanks again!
