Trouble importing Geom files
I fished the geom files I want out of the main build, imported them into my package with sim4pe, and added them to the TGI block. When I hit 'commit' in sim4pe it scrambles them - the keys, instances, and types all change. Managed to make some recolors in Sims 3, but nothing extravagant. Any help as to what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

Could you explain in more detail what you did and what happened? If you're using the Grid function to modify the CASP TGI, I've done that without issues.

I using the grid function to rename the GEOM files, as neither file comes with its own GEOM files, just refers back to existing ones. As soon as I hit 'commit' they cease being GEOM files. The type, group, and instance numbers all change, and attempts to use the file crash the game.
I've tried pulling the original GEOM files out of the build and putting them in the file, repointing the CASP at them, and the same thing happens. Whatever I do, when I hit 'commit' it scrambles the GEOM files.
Basically, I'm trying to replace the shape in the yfTop_UnderwearSexy (that default pink bra) file with the GEOMs from the yfTopNude mesh to get rid of the residual shape that comes with the underwear file. Should be simple enough, except every time I change anything in CASP in scrambles the TGI list.
I've also tried going the other way, trying to get the yfTopNude file to think it's the underwear file, but it won't appear in game even if every last bit of the flag list is exactly the same.

Three days of trying to figure out what I'm missing, no luck. Any time I change anything at all using the grid on the CASP TGI List, it changes everything in the list.
In this case I just deleted a file, saved, and committed just to as an example, but it happens with any changes whatsoever:

I see what you mean. Are you using the latest s4pe? And did you extract the s4pe program files with 7-zip instead of the Windows extractor?
I've changed CASP TGI lists and haven't seen this happen. Very strange!

Latest s4pe (.1d), but I didn't use 7-zip. No idea that could make a difference. Something to try; thanks much.

PostScript: Tried extracting the s4pe files with 7-zip. Did the same thing. Could ColorMagic be doing something to the files? That's what I'm using to extract the original files and set the category tags.

@Ruffinshot , to me that looks like the S4PE bug described here ("it looks to me like the INSTANCEs get populated into the TAG and GROUP slots while the TAG and GROUP get placed in the INSTANCE slot") – the author posted that it was fixed but not for public release yet. But that was on August 30 .. maybe check back whether that’s available now?

That's the one. No new releases since then, so I guess I wait.
Thanks for pointing that out. I thought I was losing my mind.

Maybe you can get ahold of an older version? Wasn’t there an archive on github? (No idea what issues there may be in the older versions though .. I’m not currently doing any CC stuff myself =)

There is an archive. I'd assumed any older versions would have the same issue. Worth a try until the fixed version is released. Thanks again.
PostScript: Nope. Both previous versions that were posted did the same thing.
