Hi! So when I start up my Ultimate Collection it's just a blue screen that lasts forever... not like blue screen-blue but the Sims 2 blue color right before all the little movies pop up, before the loading screen. It ran fine 5 minutes ago and I restarted the game and now nothings happening?

edit: I also hear the music, just that the screen isn't showing anything at all.

Did you delete your cache files?

I did The groupcache thing right?

There are 2 cache files that need to be deleted.

Three in total though cigen.package is for Bodyshop. Accessories.cache, groups.cache and cigen.package.

If that does nothing go into your Origin account, right click on the game and see if heal is an option.

Fixed it - I run every game I play with Dxtory to limit the fps buuut apparently Sims 2 and Dxtory don't go together lol
