This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night
Default Are ad removal tweaks causing store stuff to not show in-game
I followed Crinrict's notes on stopping ads from showing in-game. Specifically, changing the "FeaturedItems" folder to "read" only and changing the code "enableingamestore" in the options.ini file from 1 to 0. Worked brilliantly, thankfully. So, the question (I wanted to know before any h*ll breaks loose if I undo all that)...

I'm fairly certain the "...ingamestore" would be the one, but wanted to check if any of those or both be the reason the store stuff isn't showing up in-game? Many thanks for letting me know before something (I've no idea what) happened. And a happy new year.

It's not related - from my experience. Store stuff used to be a bit borky sometimes.
