Default Is there an easier programme than blender to create cc for sims 4?
I have been trying to learn Blender for about half a year and i just can't get used to it. At first i was fine creating makeup for the sims 4 but i see lots of beautiful creations that i can't create. Is there any other programmes out there where you can create meshes? I also haven't come across that many tutorials that i can watch and understand (it's not that they aren't good, i just don't understand them). Any help here would be appreciated. Thankyou

Personally I loathe Blender so completely understood. The other meshing tool often used for Sims is Milkshape 3D- it's old and has limitations when working with TS4 and it's not free ($35/25 Euro after 30-day free trial) but it's much simpler to use. CAS Tools, available as a beta here in the Modding Tools forum, works with Milkshape and gets around a lot of the limitations.

Have you looked at the tutorials here? http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=532269

Many of them are very outdated, but still may be useful as an introduction.

Edit: it's been correctly pointed out to me that the list of tutorials linked above is so badly obsolete as to do more harm than good. I'll work on getting the list updated or at least getting the no longer valid stuff removed.

Please do not PM me with mod, tutorial, or general modding questions or problems; post them in the thread for the mod or tutorial or post them in the appropriate forum.

The first time I saw blender, I was in great shock. I tried to follow the instructions and with all those pictures but I still can't understand a thing. Are there video tutorials out there?

There are thousands of them on YouTube if you search for Blender beginner tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/results?sea...torial+beginner . Also, if you use Sims 4 Studio to make your TS4 creations, all of their tutorials are Blender-based - here's their list of CAS tutorials: http://sims4studio.com/board/25/cas-pose-tutorials

Starting to watch the videos. These are like Blender for dummies. I love it! Thank you so much!

Glad those links were helpful! I found Blender horrifying at first too, but persevered because I wanted to be able to use Sims 4 Studio, which is tied to Blender. Once you force yourself to learn it, you'll find that it has all kinds of nifty features that are surprisingly high-end for a free product, so it's well worth the effort. Good luck with your new creations!

I hate blender, Milkshape 3D is better & easier to use, it's worth the money.

above all, excuse my English. Google translator. Spanish is my native language.

I would advise that you take your time, be patient, 3d modeling is not easy, whatever the program.

I learned watching videos on youtube. 3ds max.
I do not use blender or s4s. my favorite program is S4CASTools together with 3ds max and milkshape, I do not need more to make clothes, shoes, accessories and hair. photoshop, obvious.

I advise you to take the time to learn the program, look on youtube, in your language, you will surely be easier!

is not blowing and making bottles !!! when he learns, the limit is the imagination !!!
