This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default If i kill the Townies Will They Come Back?
It was so beautiful.! No Goopy running around, No Ramiswamii family in my family bin and others after I installed the clean templates from MATy and it was awesome to have no townies. I thought have no townies, but this was not the case!! I downloaded the MATY's noregen and followed the instructions, I thought to the letter, but I'm suddenly getting all these playable sims popping up every where, everytime I go to a community lot. Which were the evil townies in disguise.

This was a practice hood to see if I create a clean neighborhood and I thought I had figured it out because there were no bin families and few npcs. Then I went to a community lot and they keep being created each time I go. I have 100 townies now!!! This is my 2nd try and each time I get a little closer, but man these townies are annoying!

Where did I go wrong and what can I do to stop the game from generating more, if at all possible. Can I kill these guys safely and no more will regenerate? This is an experiment hood, so I'm off to start a townie war!

There are mods that will make sure no townies are regenerated.
I think that can help.
But im on my phone so I can't search for it right now.

Yep and you need to add empty templates, or you'll get all of the default townies.

Install your empty templates, start a brand new hood, and yay!
I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

Thanks guys! The problem was that I didn't have notownieregen installed. i thought i did but apparently I didn't. Anyway I created a new neighborhood and I did it right this time. I'm creating townies now instead of killing them, but I never went on a sim killing spree before!
