Default Sims 4 Reshade Realsims 0.5
Hola! I've been making a Reshade preset. It's a very light base (does not use video card, only costs 1-2 fps). It plays with color and light. Tell me what you think!

If you want to try it, you can install Reshade with this guide (not mine): https://katverse.com/2018/05/01/how...-on-the-sims-4/
(you also need DirectX runtime, as they say in Reshade.me https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dow...ls.aspx?id=8109)

Download from DRIVE https://drive.google.com/drive/fold...QQn?usp=sharing Then in your game installation, realsims.ini inside ...\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and Lut.png inside ...\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\reshade-shaders\Textures (replace)

Sorry if I have posted in wrong forum. Hope you like it! You can find the before pictures if you google real sims v0.5 (I think link is not allowed, they are also in tumblr http://rierias.tumblr.com/)

So far I have not seen that many pics from folks that use reshaders, but every time the pics have gone from clear to blurry. I will stick to standard.

Oh yes, that is a "blur" effect (for a blurry image), which people only use for screenshots. This one uses a "LUT". It takes 0.07 ms in processor to change color and light a bit. So for example all the greens in the picture, during that cloudy day (darker), they change:

First screenshot is still with C key, Reshade takes screenshots with another key.

It also makes nights darker. First one is with C, second one is what you see on screen, with Reshade.

This was bright daylight at the pool. Sorry images were too small in first message.

It also works with Luumia's NoBlu and NoGlo. It does not touch mods / version does not matter.

It's 4 we're talking about right?

I like the more turqoise look, unless there is shiny, sunny day. Then it's too much blur on the hair of the people standing on the side of the pool, while the guy in the water looks better. Perhaps he's further away though.

Glad you like it! Oh, I forget, the two skins in the screens are Obscurus N4b and Aphelion Male Skin. I love them, and only did this after I got them haha.

Overlays go in mods, then you find them in Face Details (click your sim's face then the freckles icon). Overlay vs maxis boy:
