How can I find an object in CAW?I don’t know the object name, so I can’t search it using the search panel.

This list - with pictures - goes through at least World Adventures: http://simswiki.info/wiki.php%3Ftit...tent_Lists#Fish. (Not completely accurate but a good resource.) This is a list of trees and plants: http://cawtool.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Trees_and_Plants. There's a pdf file here that goes through Island Paradise: http://www.janas-creatives.de/blog/?p=12652. (The web site and the file are in German, though.) These are the only ones I know of. Perhaps someone else will have some suggestions.

I just click on the items with names that make sense at all for it until I find it.

Thanks for your reply
My CAW isn't English.
Even if you search by English name, it doesn't come out.
It must be searched in the installed language.
In English and other languages, item names are slightly different.

What are you looking for? Do you have a photo? But if your CAW is not English our telling you the English name if we can probably will not help you. You may just have to go down the items one by one until you find it.

My caw isn't English either. If I want a seawall I search by natural translations, what exp or world it came by or if it has a name in English I translate and look for translations of the objects name. You can also go through the fullbuild list in S3PE and just scroll through pictures. S3PE can be easier to handle when nothing else works. It might be very timeconsuming though. It depends on how important it is.
As daisylee says, a picture might be useful.

A picture or at least tell us what it is that you are looking for? A fence, tree, light....... what is it?
Volvenom, your English is a heck of a lot better than most of the folks who have it as their native language. I am sure you have no problem with CAW in English.
And to the original poster, can't you download CAW in English as that would make things easier?

Can it be done? I didn't know. My game is in Norwegian too. I just installed ts4 on this laptop today, and didn't even see the option to select language before it was too late.
Thank you. I probably wouldn't even notice the language until I stumble on a problem.

Sorry to interrupt this thread but I am curious to know how to go through the fullbuild list in S3PE and just scroll through pictures? I opened a world/map file with S3PE and looked at the _IMG files but they all seem to be terrain textures or associated graphics. Thank you for your assistance!

If I know what I'm looking for I can see in the pictues what it resembles. It looks to me like bitmaps and I see textures for different parts of the bridge etc. Perhaps it depends on your skills.
