I need help. I tried to install the sims 3. It was OK at first and then the dialog box popped up, the cmd.exe dialog. everything seemed OK while it was extracting the data1.dat file. but every time when it moved to data2.dat my laptop restarts. Before it restarted, i saw the blue screen but it disappeared too quickly i didn't have a chance to read what it said..please...can anyone help me..

im using Dell Inspiron 6400 with Vista Home Basic.
i've never had any problem playing sims 2 before..please some one any idea what im doing wrong?

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.

The search box is Vista's version of Run.

Well, I don't know if this is what's causing the installation issue - that's more likely to be overheating since this is a laptop. But if you do get TS3 installed on that machine, you probably won't be able to play without bad performance and crashing. Your processor, RAM,and graphics cards are all below requirements - Game Help:TS3 System Requirementswiki.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.
