Is it some kind of April Fool's joke? Anyways Happy Easter everybody.

No, it's a Great Idea, for "Great ideas day...

I'm wondering if it's random whether you are on Team Hamster or Team Butterfly, or if there is some underlying pattern I haven't spotted yet.

Keep reading. There are a lot of butterflies, too. (And one Mantis Shrimp who is sometimes a mantis shrimp and sometimes a hamster, probably depending on which hat she was wearing when she posted...)

Tashiketh is a hamster, as is Inge. Pescado is a butterfly. (As Claeric would be if he hadn't been banned 8 years ago. ) But Buzzler and CmarNYC are butterflies as well, as is Hysterical Paroxysm...

I think it's random based on when the algorithm that was changing things encountered your name.

I thought I had this figured out. It's MTS' way to tell us we are all rodents running through their mazes and performing in behavioral experiments for their amusement at our expense. Then cue the Douglas Adams fans who should explain that as rodents, we are the ones actually performing sophisticated behavioral experiments on MTS.

But then I saw the butterflies and all bets were off. I give up.

I had to pop up here as a hamster, too, sniffing rapidly, moving my whiskers.
Sniffing around the corners of this topic room.
It reminds me of that dialogue in Monty Python: "She turned me into a newt! ... But I got better." Hopefully we will as well.
