This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Need help getting custom avi files for custom tv's to work on Steam Deck/Linux
I've been trying to get custom avi files to work in Sims 2 on steam deck with lutris for sometime. I know I need an avi codec and I've been using xvid via winetricks, but all that does is give me a black screen, but the audio still plays. Using any other proton version (GE included) doesn't fix this issue.

If anyone knows how to fix the tv being black, but only playing audio with custom tv's, I would love to know the answer. Maybe this is a problem that happens on windows as well, so if there's a solution for how to fix it on windows, maybe I can figure out a way to make it work on the deck.
