This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default I used the Graphics Rule Maker and it harmed my game
I have a Lenovo desktop and just installed my Sims 2 game again and there was this annoying screen tear glitch and online there was a forum that said the 'smooth edges' option had to be used, but when I opened my game and went there I discovered the 'smooth edges' option was greyed out so someone else in that forum suggested using the Graphics Rule Maker. I downloaded it and clicked for it to use highest performance on my Intel HD Graphics Card-- I loaded up the game and it said that the game couldn't read my DirectX card because it wasn't up to date??

Never mind, I fixed it.
  • Right-click the Sims 2 icon
  • Go to Properties
  • Look at your 'Target' box then Space and Enter '-w' at the end of the (")
  • Click 'Ok'

When I loaded the game, it also enabled the 'Smooth Edges' option so
