Default Converting Sims 2 walls & floors to Sims 3?
Is there a tutorial for converting Sims 2 walls & floors to Sims 3? I thought I saw one somewhere and now that I need it, I can't remember where.

Thanks. But it's been so long since I posted this, I don't even remember what it was I wanted to convert.

I followed the Tut step by step with no luck....
The YouTube tut series on converting TS2 walls to TS3 always hangs on the copy/paste step of the mask creation for me.

I load the image I want to use as my base, set it to RGB, set the brightness and contrast, create the new image and decompose to the 3 channel layers as noted in the video with no problem.

Where it hangs for me is when I try to copy the adjusted original image and "paste into" the red channel. All I see is a "floating selection (pasted layer)" in the layers menu and it won't complete the paste into the red channel.

The video's author doesn't seem to have this problem even though I see that she also has the floating selection come up as she edits each channel.

I've tried this multiple times carefully listening to and watching the tut but I always get stuck with this floating selection and no way to go beyond it to edit the green and blue channels of my wall.

What could I possibly be missing here?
