Default Converting Sims 1 Walls and Floors to The Sims 2
Pretty much what the title says. I know there are various sites, including MTS, that has the walls from TS1 available as TS2 mods, but I can't find any sites that offer the same for the floors, and I figured, maybe I could do this myself! I've looked around online, but can't seem to find any type of guide on how to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I suspect you'd have to find a program that can extract textures from TS1. I've never made anything for that game, so I don't know how. Just don't expect the textures to be good enough quality for use in TS2 - they're probably much smaller in size. You can also try to recreate them in a drawing program (Photoshop, Gimp, or similar).

You can make TS2 walls and floors in Homecrafter, found here: http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php...0Site%20Archive

The problem is that, while the walls are the same flat textures as in TS2, floors in TS1 are drawn in an isometric perspective, so you'd have to really distort them to make them into flat textures for use in TS2. If you wanna give it a try, all you need is a copy of The Sims and the Homecrafter program for TS1, it works the same as the TS2 program and should be fairly straightforward.
