Default Basic Animation List
Some time i feel the need to made some for the community (and for mee too)
so i've a gift for everyone like me that prefear to search on a .txt file than a 30megs package file.

i've made a list in .txt version and one with a table in .htm
so if you need it for a website i've made the work for you.

both version have 4728 animations from TS2 (Base)
maybe there are all basic ...

hope you'll find it usefull

max.

Definetly can be useful. :D

Of course, the problem still arises, once you find the animation you want, you still need to open the package....

trezero: Only if you want to edit the animation yourself. If you just want to use them in another object you don't need to go into objects.package at all.

Tsschk. You haven't really modded anything until you've gone 3 layers deeper than you ever needed to, and got yourself completely confused at least twice.

Or at least, that's what all my mods usually entail.

my objective is to produce fast and always good stuff...
some time i reach it some time not..
and i hate to loose my self :P

at least i think that many ppl didn't do his best 'cause we haven't a realy productive editor...

actually i can't produse much more than a static mesh with some function :P
and think that i work with 3DStudio from the versione 4 (under dos 6.22)
For sure i can animate Bone, with IK and not.. layered and not :P
but without a decent programming interface not much is doinable 4me

Max: Which interface are you hoping for? I've always found the BHAV interface to be extremely simple to use... I can't say much about the animations though - I can't even get my objects to maintain their bone structure!

nice answare.. probably a console style would be more easy to use..
something like this
Quote:
0: 0x0002: Expression Local 0x0: = Literal 0x0
1: 0x0002: Expression Stack Object ID 0x0: = Literal 0x0
2: 0x001F: Set to Next (person, resoult in Stack Object ID 0x0000)
3: 0x0032: Add/Change....

... at the end is all about parsing the hex code..

i think, maybe something like Edith

Heh, Edith is extremely similar to PJSE in its interface. The only real difference is that PJSE displays the tree as left aligned where Edith displays it as a free form tree.

If you want something more console-ish though, check out Dizzy's NASM assembler:

You can write pretty much straight text based files and I believe it parses them into BHAV.

I still prefer PJSE though.

Good list.
I'm going to put this on the wiki (I'll credit you on the talk page), OK?

Please don't PM me with questions. Post them in the appropriate thread.

Since Max3D hasn't objected (yet), I'm going to post it.

EDIT: Here's the article: http://www.sims2wiki.info/List_of_Animations/Base.
