Default To be a queen! (or king!)
I really do love it. I was really skeptical about this game, but I really do like. it. I think it's a good game. I thought I would run out of quests(not on the first day of course), but I'm not sure if I can see that happening any time soon. And the sims! I was very surprised to see they "made another sim" I guess I would say it? Their faces look different.(http://i52.tinypic.com/68u82r.jpg) I will have to say though, I can't wait for people to make mods and CC for it though. <3 What's your opinion?

I love TSM because:

• You can choose your Sim's gender preference
• RPG aspect without having to kill someone every three seconds
• The Sims themselves
• The outfits, etc.
• All of the different roles you can play
• Pointy CAS elf ears
• The traits and Fatal Flaws

Now all I need are some cheats other than Motherlode (which works!) and I'll be good.

I don't have the game but I really like how the facial features of TSM are so different and that they look similar to historical photos of medival times and also some other times. The pic global princess has uploaded reminds me of Joan of Arc

@999rozes- Does she? She's the queen I made for my kingdom!

@LoonehWannabe- Same same. The only thing I DON'T like is that, I can't switch between sims/households.
Like, I would like to play my queen more, but I can't play unless I give her a quest. D;

The sims are so, so much better looking. They need to seriously implement whatever it is they did here in TS3 because I just want to make sims and let the kingdom burn!

I usually stall quests with my favourite character, so I just fill her mini quests and hunt, fight, and practice fighting (she's bloodthirsty).

I've also found out that it's easier to put stoves and tents/beds on community lots so your Sim doesn't have to go home all of the time.

Aren't the faces non-editable? That could be a reason why they look so much better.

Anyways, the faces also look much better because of the skin (the nose actually has a slight shine) and also because features like the freckles and the eyes are more delicate and not done in such a ham-fisted manner as they were in the Sims 3.

Edit: It looks like the Sims Medieval uses the Sims 3 engine, but with extra features like sub-surface scattering for character models. Maybe we'll get it in a future patch?

@jje1000- Nope! I made her face too! It's like TS3. You can change their eyes, skin color and all that jazz.

@LoonehWannabe- You should just make a guide already! xD <3 You got some good tips!

@Tuber101- I know right. .D| I love them. <3

Apparently medieval times were more recent than I'd realised.

LOL kiwi tea

I hope dearly that they use these improvements in TS3, either by patch or expansion. It would make the game worth playing again.

I feel like sharing a story. . because I'm that lonely irl right now. >w>
Anyways, was on a quest where I had to get two of my sims married, BUT they can't get married without the queens approval! In which they did not get. So they got married and woohoo'd and right because my groom was gonna pass out(because he was so sleepy!), I hear that I have to tell the queen quickly that the marriage was consummated and not to kill him. I decided to leave that for the morning, and right when the groom was about to wake up! He gets arrested because he didn't tell the queen soon enough. And right as he was going to the pit to die, I find out his new wife is pregnant with a baby boy. True story. I was really upset, because he died after that. :I Now she has a new baby and a dead husband.

Wow. I cannot believe that is an outta the box EAxis Sim. Wow. If TS3 Sims looked like that, I would definitely play it.

Natural eyebrows that don't look like ropes, good skin quality, beautiful eyes. Cool beans. I will be playing tomorrow and will update.

my thoughts - Overall, positive about the game.

I love the way the sims look, though I didn't like having most of the wants/needs removed. There's just hunger and energy now.

I want to be able to mix and match clothes -- tops and bottoms. That's gone. :/ However the full outfits are well done.

I kept wanting to add just a little makeup. I am not sure why they took that out. Makeup of many (and deadly) sorts were used. Arsenic face cream, anyone? Or lead paint?

It was difficult to keep track of the other members of my ruler's family. The spouse, kids, etc. Maybe I am missing something.

Other than that-- there are many, many cool items I would really like to have imported into my sims 3 game.

I know right? D: I saw these and I thought they were beautiful!

@kiatyn- I noticed they took out a lot of stuff too. . maybe to make room for the new stuff? D:

At first, I would say I agreed about the makeup. I was like, "What, one slider for blush? Uhhh." But really, when I look at my sims, I don't miss the makeup options. I don't feel like the lack of makeup takes away from the create-a-sim system. The point about the mix-and-match tops and bottoms is true, though. I miss that, especially for men.

But I'm blown away by the clothes for the women (or the female monarch, at least, since that's the only female character I've played yet). The clothes, the hair, just everything about the create-a-sim is fantastic. I can't wait to see what the community comes up with for it. The rest of the gameplay is OK. Interesting enough for now, but I can't see how long my patience for point-and-click will be.

I also hope EA does something to improve the CAS to the effect of TSM in TS3. I'm crossing my fingers, that would be excellent, but I'm not sure how response EA is going to be with that. Here's hoping.

I haven't installed my game yet, but just from the ingame and inCAS shots I've seen, the sims are remarkably beautiful in CAS, but it looks like they are quite tiny in game so the wonderful features may be much less detailed. Anyone experienced this?

If there is a video camera option I want to film the story on the links below but I know there are restrictions that I can't avoid when making this...

I have to say... I LOVE THIS GAME! I've played sims since Sims 1 and watched it grow over the years and am HIGHLY impressed with Sims Medieval. On a side note, my mother, who has never played a version of Sims in her life, pre-ordered Sims Medieval and was having a blast yesterday when she installed it. The controls were a bit mucky for her since she wasn't used to them but she was highly impressed with the graphics and gameplay and in her own words "Was definately worth the money"! Good job EA =) now hopefully we can get some custom content for those of us who like to take a hammer to a wall as soon as the game is installed lol
