When you lie awake for hours at night wondering what aspirations (primary and secondary) every character from a certain TV show would have, and then start trying to calculate the chemistry scores of the canon couples based on their most likely TOs and all that.

You keep commenting that your friend's IKEA lamp is in the Sims (the white paper floor lamp) and then add that your own bedside table (the teal one) is also in the game. Every single time you visit.

I also do this. Constantly. My boss's office has IKEA lamps and my husband is always subjected to this when we actually go to IKEA.

TBH I don't know what that says about IKEA's product range if 10 year old stuff is still widely available in their stores

That its timeless? One of my friends has two or three LACK tables (in bright LACK colours to match her 'unicorn barf' colour scheme) in her lounge room as end tables and coffee tables. I always tell her they are sims tables too.

I own a LACK table that is at least as old as I - I'm 28! And it's still the same table as is sold nowadays.

Another funny one of the same kind...MTS in french stands for Maladie Transmise Sexuellement. (sexually transmittable disease)
So *I* must be very careful, when I talk to people around here, about this very sim site...because after many years of playing this game/browsing these forums, I keep forgetting about this small detail.

My daughter bought maternity shirts to match her Sim's (custom content... Guess what the Sim's was probably base on) and we went to buy a changing table and walked in and my first thought was driftwood living set. Second was, we got to build it!

When you look up, see the Constellation of Orion, and immediately think of the Tricou boy with blond hair and the long black coat. (He's called Orion Teens in the game files.)

Oh yeah I remember that one I remember being just so confused and I turned to my mum and said "that was sims 2 music".

When you select your sims to command them and just... start talking to them as though they were your pets.
